Yes, it was a dream of MR. N.K Singhania, promoter of M/S Shanker Wire Products Industries ( Manufacturers - Exporters of Iron Weight from 50 g to 500 kg a piece since 1961) to start manufacturing of precision weight, precision calibration weight of very high quality which can compete with international standards and with products manufactured in developed countries of the world.

At our request, scientists from the National Physical Laboratory of India visited us in 1984, prepared due project for manufacturing and calibrating precision weights, but due to unavoidable circumstances we could not proceed very fast on this large project during that period.

However, in 1991, it was decided to entrust the responsibility of this project on my shoulder, the second son of Mr. N.K

Thus, I came forward and divided the said project in three phases :

First phase - Manufacturing of Precision Weights
Second phase - Manufacturing of High Precision Weights
Third phase - Transferring the unit to New Delhi within a radius of 30-40km from NPL.

Finally, my company in the name and style of Weigh India, born in January 1993, with modern Machineries, equipment and Hi-tech laboratory. I have completed the first phase of the project and have undertaken to achieve the second phase of the project and am confident to complete it very soon.

My ambition is to serve not only the people of my country, but the people of this universe at large.

Today I am in a position to inform you that I have completed the second phase of my above project and my company has started production of High Precision Weight viz Weight accuracy classes F₂, F₁,E₂& E₁ of OIML R-111

These weights are being calibrated by National Physical Laboratory of India and we provide due certificate of the said laboratory along with the weight box.

I have also undertaken the gradual shifting of this Unit to New Delhi as Part of My third phase' as per my schedule and for this purpose, land has been procured and construction work is in progress. I hope to complete it very soon.

My ambition has started taking final shape and I am sure that after completion of the third phase, I shall be able to serve more, the people at large as per my commitment.
